I recently had one of those "What the hell is going on" moments in the game. I had some stuff in Illuin that I wanted to pick up for a while. I was trying to remind myself to do it every time I log in to the game for a couple of days until I wasn't feeling lazy enough to delay it for next time.
Anyway, I decided to log in specifically to pick the stuff up. So, I typed Iluin in the search, clicked set destination and off I was, traveling semi afk (just jumping manually) while reading the forums. I've entered the destination system and the weirdest thing happened.
Usually when I arrive in a system where I have to pick up something, I just open the Assets window and dock in whichever the station is listed in the "Solar system" tab. There was no station listed there.
I thought, OK... that's strange. Went to the "All items" window just to confirm and there it was - Illuin with listed items that are supposed to be there. Right click... no "Dock"... just "Set destination"
So, OK... it must be a bug. Lets see if I can find it in the overview.... Nope... no stations there!?
Ok, my overview got bugged, "obviously". I'm opening my overview settings and looking for stations. They sure are checked.
The next step... open the system info to find a station there. It's Iluin... check... it's Metropolis region... check... scroll down to celestial list to find stations... nope. There were no stations in this system at all. I was starting to become a bit worried for my mental health at this point.
I typed Iluin, set destination to Iluin, arrived at Iluin, but I was not in Iluin? Twilight Zone moment already kicked in a minute or two ago and it was quickly turning into "This is getting weirder and weirder" situation Johnny Bravo style.
I've finally opened Dotlan looked at the connecting gates and found out that I ended up in ILUIN and that my destination system should have been ILLUIN from the beginning.
It might not be the most entertaining story on the forums, but after what I've experienced there for a couple of minutes I just felt the need to share it with someone. o.0 |

Having multiple pages of items listed in the assets window, it's faster for me to just type the system name than to scroll and search for it in the list

No way typing is easier than "right click, set destination". Well, I'm not complaining I could have set the destination when I found it in the Assets list during the "debugging" of my problem. But I'm a damn software engineer. I have to get to the bottom of the "bug" before using the first available solution. o.0 |
